Woodinville Baseball Club (WBC) Philosophy
Our program is built around fun, exploration and development. We believe that our players learn life lessons through baseball.
Professional Coaches
The Club hires outstanding coaches at all levels. Currently, we employ four former college players, one former pro player and two former pro coaches. WBC does not have any dad head coaches.
Advanced Off-Season Training
Our off-season training typically runs from November through February and features specialized coaching for pitchers, catchers, infielders, hitting and speed training. With the EL1 partnership we will have additional coaching and resources to enhance our advanced training.
Speed Training
Unique to WBC and run by a professional speed coach, our speed training focuses on technique and fundamentals to increase speed. Unlike traditional conditioning and core training, from our data our players seen up to a 25% speed increase in first year and up to 10% in year two. The increase in explosiveness has a direct impact on gains our players see in bat speed and throwing velocity.
Powered by EL1 Sports
In the summer of 2020, the WBC entered into a partnership with EL1 Sports. EL1 owns and operates our recently renovated training facility which is located in Woodinville. Our coaches will be a part of the EL1 staff and the EL1 partnership is a great alignment of two organizations.
League Play
WBC teams play in Seattle Elite (Gold Division).
Home Games
Home games, practices and off-season training takes place in Woodinville.
Fall Ball Program
WBC participates in fall baseball.
Development
We have had many former WBC players go on to play college and pro baseball, and are very proud of our alumni. However, we don't believe we should single them out, as we are proud of every player that comes through our program.
