Frequently Asked Questions

We are in the process of developing written responses to our Frequently Asked Questions. If you have questions, that are not addressed below, please e-mail us at info@woodinvillebaseballclub.com.

  • When does WBC hold tryouts?

We hold open tryouts each year around the end of July and early August for the following year's baseball teams.  We try to offer multiple tryout dates for each age group.  Our Tryouts page will be updated as dates and times are scheduled.

  • Should I attend all tryouts?

Yes if at all possible. The more opportunities the coaches have to see each player, the better the player's chances will be of being selected.

  • When will players hear if they have made a team?

Coaches normally will contact players who made the team within 1 week following the last posted tryout.

  • Does WBC offer any financial assistance?

Yes!  WBC is proud to offer qualified players and families financial assistance.  Our WBC Sponsorship Policy has additional information.

  • How many games do you play?

Schedules vary by team, but in general you can expect to play about 25 regular season games. Each team's tournament schedule will vary, but can add several games to your season.  Our coaches will have more team specific information available at tryouts.

  • When does your season start and end?

This varies by team. The coaching staff will determine their team’s schedule for the season which may include winter workouts, early season tournaments, regular season games and summer tournaments.  Our coaches will have more team specific information available at tryouts.
